Although I only had snow in the city of Edinburgh for one glorious morning so far, I've been trying my darnedest to get in the Christmas spirit (even if there's bright green grass everywhere). We have a tiny Christmas tree in our living room, but I've got my eye on the real live tree in a paint-your-own Santa Claus mug at Sainsbury's.
I wish I could've been there for Christmas tree-hunting this weekend at Grindstone. It's the first tree-hunting that I've missed I believe, not counting canceled ones. It's especially disappointing because it's one of the top three things I look forward to during the Christmas season; Tree-hunting, Christmas eve and Christmas day. All three inclusive of food, drinks and eggnog.

Sainsbury's also has pre-bottles mulled wine, which might be worth a try. I'm going to head down to the Christmas markets this week to try some treats there as well- including the mulled wine and mulled cider! Ooooh!
