It's only 94 days until I jet off for Helsinki! After this weekend (MBLibs AGM in Portage La Prairie) it's getting down to crunch time for WCYP planning for May long weekend, and after that, planning in full force for Finland, Russia, Latvia & Estonia.
On Wednesday, my sister is heading out to Geneva, Switzerland. For THREE months. I'm a bit jealous, as she gets to spend the whole summer in Europe, but very excited for her nonetheless. Her travelblog is @ www.tyyne.petrowski.ca. She's also taking her third honeymoon with her husband after her work term is up in Geneva. They're going to Paris and London.
Yeah. Maybe a bit jealous.
But I'm going to St.Petersburg, baby!
List of things to do in the next few weeks include:
1.) Get camera fixed.
2.) Get camera fixed.
3.) Book tickets.
4.) Email Russian professor for updates.
5.) Get camera fixed.
6.) Book hostels in Latvia & Estonia.
7.) Email relatives in Helsinki to say, "Hey, we're related. I'm from Canada. Can I crash on your couch?"
8.) Get the darn camera fixed!
Less than 100 days!
