Laying in hammocks.

August started today. This means that it is not very long until I depart. This weekend I will be going to Thunder Bay to my cousin's wedding and to see (and bid farewell!) to my friend Matt (or Arnie, as my grandmother calls him) as I will not see him again before I move. Monday morning I leave Thunder Bay for Toronto, where I have my biometric testing appointment for my UK work visa. I've completed my visa paperwork and all of the general administration save for my biometrics. I'm fairly excited to be spending a few days in Toronto, as it will be my first time there. My friend Jess is accompanying me, so it will be nice to have a girl's getaway before I move across the Atlantic. I suspect that my liver will barely survive August 5-10, but let's just consider it training for moving to England.
